Director of Quality
Location: South Central Oklahoma
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $150-180k

System One is working with an Aerospace Manufacturing Company to find an experienced aerospace Quality leader to unify our Quality Management System, strengthen regulatory compliance, and drive a proactive, data driven quality culture across multiple sites.
What You’ll Do
Lead QA, QC, and a 30–40 person Quality organization
Own and improve the companywide QMS (AS9100, FAA Part 21, Part 145, PMA)
Ensure product conformity and oversee all audits (internal, customer, regulatory)
Drive COPQ reduction (scrap, rework, warranty) through root cause and continuous improvement
Lead supplier quality, inspection functions, and calibration programs
Introduce modern inspection technologies and elevate Quality capabilities
Build a proactive, high accountability quality culture across all plants
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science (required)
10+ years progressive Quality leadership in aerospace manufacturing
Direct FAA regulated environment experience (Part 21, Part 145, PMA)
Strong statistical analysis and structured problem solving skills
Stable career history with demonstrated impact
Six Sigma Black Belt and CMQ/OE preferred
Location & Travel
Primary: Oklahoma
Travel ~50% initially, ~25% long term
