Job Summary and Responsibilities The MRI Technologist will provide optimum patient care while performing diagnostic MRI exams requiring no constant supervision. Responsible for knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy, magnetic safety, and contrast media administration, all functions performed at a computerized operator console.
Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Current advanced registry in MRI with the ARRT or ARMIT and current American Red Cross BCLS or within one month of employment.
Associate Degree or Certificate.
Minimum of two years experience as a radiologic technologist (RT).
Specialty experience in CT, MRI, strong background in cross‑sectional anatomy and knowledge in multimodality imaging.
