Build Systems That Power Critical Industries and Save Lives Control Associates is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler/Welder to join our manufacturing team in Bloomingdale, NJ. What You'll Build:

Read and interpret complex P&ID drawings to fabricate industrial control panels and electrical panels with precision

Fabricate piping racks and skids for critical industrial applications

Assemble systems using stainless steel tubing (.035-.049 wall thickness)

Work with PVC Schedule 80 and CPVC materials

Perform TIG root welding when required (approximately 20% of role)

Assemble components using Schedule 10 through Schedule 160 pipe wall thicknesses

Apply compression fittings with precision and expertise

What You'll Bring:

3+ years of experience assembling industrial control panels

Ability to read and interpret complex P&ID drawings with accuracy

Expert‑level proficiency with hand tools for precision assembly

Experience working with stainless steel panels, PVC, and CPVC

Capable of lifting to 65 pounds and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday, including 30% of day standing

Short learning curve - you quickly grasp processes, deliverables, and assembly pace

Background in Construction, Mechanics, Fluid Handling, and/or Pneumatics (preferred)

What We Offer:

$24-$29/hr. based on experience
