Position Summary Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner.
Completes required exams; sends studies to reading station for radiologist review.
Completes all associated documentation.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program.
Certifications: ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) and/or ARRT (R) and documentation of MRI training. Must obtain MRI Registry credential (ARRT or ARMRIT) within 1 year of hire. AHA BLS. State license if required.
Preferred Requirements
Experience: 1-3 years.
Education: Associate degree or Bachelor's degree.
Certifications: ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) Credential.
