Your Key Responsibilities
Technical and disciplinary management of the regional Real Estate Asset & Property Management team with responsibility for smooth, cost-efficient and compliant real estate operations across the region
Responsibility for operational budget control and cost management in regional real estate operations (commercial & technical facility management)
Development of global asset strategies for the sustainable enhancement of the value of the regional real estate portfolio
Continuous monitoring and regional execution of global standards, KPIs and processes for the technical and commercial operation of real estate
Close cooperation with CREM departments such as Portfolio- and Transaction Management, Construction, Workplace, Finance & Controlling, etc., to ensure the smooth handover of projects into operation and to guarantee integrated service concepts
Ensuring compliance with regulatory, qualitative and internal company requirements regionally – particularly with regard to ESG, compliance and risk management
Establishing and monitoring KPIs, benchmarks and reporting structures
Implementing digital tools in collaboration with the Real Estate Digitalisation & Processes department
Operational management of all service providers in property and facility management via the regional organisation
Strategic development of the ‘Total Operations Model’ (regional strategy for e.g. make or buy) and its implementation in property & facility management
Your Qualifications
Degree in real estate management, facility management, business administration or similar
At least 10 years of professional experience in international real estate management, preferably asset & property management, ideally in corporate structures
Proven leadership experience in global, matrix-organised teams
In-depth knowledge of managing complex service and operating models and developing global standards and KPIs
Experience in strategic procurement and contract management at an international level
Knowledge of real estate management systems such as Planon, Speedikon, etc. is advantageous
Business fluent written and spoken German and English
Willingness to travel (20%)
Strong strategic and analytical skills
Intercultural competence and experience in working with international stakeholders
Strong communication and assertiveness skills
