Position Summary

The Manager of Revenue Analysis and Reporting is a leadership role responsible for overseeing revenue accounting, reporting, and analytical activities within a healthcare environment. This position manages revenue-related close processes, financial analysis, and contract review while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies. The Manager partners with senior leadership and cross-functional teams—including Finance, Accounting, Operations, Revenue Cycle, and Information Technology—to support accurate revenue recognition, improve reporting capabilities, and provide insight into complex healthcare revenue transactions. The role focuses on maintaining compliance, enhancing efficiency, and supporting organizational financial objectives. Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop a team responsible for revenue accounting and reporting activities. Ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with internal policies and U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606. Oversee monthly and quarterly close activities related to revenue and accounts receivable, including reconciliations and variance analysis. Review healthcare-related contracts and revenue arrangements to ensure appropriate revenue allocation, timing, and documentation. Lead the development and maintenance of revenue reporting, analytics, and key performance indicators supporting revenue cycle operations. Prepare recurring and ad hoc analyses, including revenue trends, projections, receivable rollforwards, and reporting by service line, region, or payer type. Collaborate with Sales, Billing, Collections, Operations, and Finance to provide guidance on complex revenue recognition matters. Participate in operational and financial review meetings, providing revenue insights and recommendations to leadership. Identify opportunities to improve revenue-related processes, controls, and reporting efficiency. Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and healthcare revenue cycle concepts. Ability to analyze complex financial data and translate findings into actionable insights. Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to leadership. Demonstrated leadership, team development, and people management capabilities. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills with a process-improvement mindset. Proficiency in common financial systems and reporting tools. Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required. Experience with revenue recognition under ASC 606 required; healthcare industry experience preferred. Prior experience in revenue accounting, financial reporting, or revenue analytics. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard financial reporting applications.
