Chronic Care Specialty Sales Representative
The Chronic Care Specialty Sales Representative is a key member of the Customer Team and plays a critical role in supporting SYNEOS HEALTH'S business model. Responsible for working with the Customer Team to understand and identify customer needs, supporting pull-through activities relative to the customer strategy, keeping with SYNEOS HEALTH'S values and standards as governed by company policies, and providing information to support healthcare professionals using company-approved messaging and resources. The Chronic Care Specialty Sales Representative demonstrates a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance, an engaging manner, professionalism and leadership by modeling the required knowledge for successful execution of all Field Sales competencies.
Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities with specialty physicians, small group practices, solo practices and other health service providers.
Present therapeutic products and creatively educate people about their usage.
Engage in meaningful dialogue that addresses the needs of the health provider and patient.
Build trust and credibility and become a true collaborator.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or 4–6+ years of the following equivalent experience:
Professional sales experience.
Work experience in the healthcare/scientific field (including pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices) that is not sales related.
Professional marketing experience.
Military experience.
1–2 years of Pharmaceutical Sales Experience preferred; 3+ years preferred for certain specialties.
Strong verbal communication skills, leadership, planning and organization, and the ability to learn, understand and convey complex information.
Valid driver’s license to drive to assigned healthcare accounts; travel percentage will vary based on territory.
Drive for self-development, the ability to collaborate, and an action-oriented work ethic.
Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $115,000. Salary may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions or bonus based on company and/or individual performance. Benefits include competitive compensation, health benefits (medical, dental, vision), company match 401(k), flexible paid time off (PTO) and sick time, and other perks.
