Phlebotomist II Float Location:

Naples, FL

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotational weekends.

Sign-On Bonus:

$2,500.00 for external applicants.

We offer a variety of work where no two days will look the same. As a Phlebotomist floater, you will be able to shift frequently to new patient centers and continually meet new people. Pay Range $19.32+ per hour. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and certifications. Successful candidates may be eligible for annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities

Assigned a territory to cover phlebotomy duties within a Patient Service Center, doctor’s office, or as business needs dictate.

Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.

Collect specimens according to established procedures (e.g., drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).

Enter billing information and collect payment when required.

Coach, mentor, and instruct new employees; serve as a resource advisor and point of contact to staff on site, providing regular input to group lead or supervisor.

Travel to additional doctor’s office or Patient Service Center sites when needed.

Qualifications Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic training) preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred, required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Work Experience:

Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Minimum two years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience preferred.

The position requires the ability to effectively communicate in English.
