Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using ultrasound technology. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in medical terminology. The Sonographer will work closely with patients to ensure their comfort and provide high-quality imaging services.
Duties
Conduct ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, and obstetric scans.
Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the imaging process.
Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
Collaborate with physicians to discuss imaging results and assist in diagnosing conditions.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
Stay updated with advancements in sonography techniques and technologies.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the clinical environment.
Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance professional skills.
Requirements
Relevant qualification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology knowledge.
Experience or techniques is desirable but not essential.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay : $50.00 - $66.00 per hour
