Phlebotomist II Float – Eastvale, CA
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Job Description Position requires a state phlebotomy license (Quest does not accept NHA licenses in CA, WA, NV). This float role offers a diverse, dynamic work environment with frequent shifts to new patient centers. Pay range: $23.70 - $26.20 per hour, based on skills, training, experience, education, and applicable certifications. Successful candidates may be eligible for annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities
Assigned a territory to cover phlebotomy duties within a Patient Service Center, doctor’s office, or as business needs dictate
Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing
Collect specimens according to established procedures (e.g., drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams)
Enter billing information and collect payment when required
Coach, mentor, instruct, and serve as a resource advisor for new employees; act as point of contact to staff on site and provide regular input to the group lead or supervisor
Travel to additional doctors’ offices or Patient Service Center sites when needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington
Three years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
Minimum two years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred
Keyboard/data entry experience
Additional Requirements The position requires effective communication in English.
