Job Summary and Responsibilities
Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.
Perform high‑quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs.
Follow ACR practice guidelines and safety standards for MRI.
Demonstrate leadership abilities and serve as a role model for other associate technologists.
Act as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assure current standards of practice for the unit.
Schedule Alternating schedule: 1st week Fri–Sun, 7:30 a.m.–8 p.m.; 2nd week Sat–Mon 7:30 a.m.–8 p.m.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
Registered Technologist, Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging – R.T. (R) and/or (MR) (ARRT) required.
Current Basic Life Support certification required from American Heart Association.
Physical Requirements – Medium Work: Exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, up to 10 lbs constantly.
