Phlebotomist II Float – Merced, CA
Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II Float to serve as a key member of our Patient Service Center team. This full‑time position will require a state phlebotomy license (Quest does not accept NHA licenses in CA, WA, NV) and involves shifting to multiple sites to meet patient needs during a Monday‑Friday schedule from 5:30 AM to 5:00 PM with rotational weekends. Pay Range
$21.40–$24.60 per hour, with annual performance bonus eligibility. Benefits

Responsibilities
Cover a designated territory, drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing. Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening and insurance exams. Enter billing information and collect payment when required. Coach, mentor, instruct and serve as a resource advisor for new employees; be the point of contact on site and provide regular input to the group lead or supervisor. Travel to additional doctor’s office or Patient Service Center sites when needed. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada and Washington. Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections. Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Equal Opportunity Employer
