Overview
The Credit Analyst responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Completing spreads of business entities and individuals to summarize their financial condition and performance over a period of time in a consistent and accurate manner.
Producing a variety of summary analyses on Commercial Real Estate projects, including leasing reports, operating performance and projections analysis.
Assisting Loan Officers in completing reports used by Senior Management in the monitoring and decision making processes.
Gathering and presenting information in a concise and meaningful manner. Some of these areas may include: Industries, Commercial Real Estate Markets, Public Real Estate Records, and Public information on Business Entities and Individuals.
Performing analysis of business entities and individuals to assess their financial performance and condition, trends, key drivers, projections, and risks, with a focus on their ability to service debt.
Contacting bank customers to gather information and/or follow-up on required items.
Various special projects from Loan Officers and Senior Management.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree is required in Accounting, Finance or Economics with a minimum GPA of 3.25.
1 - 5 years of experience in a CRE analyst or underwriter role or a combination of equivalent experience as demonstrated through work training, military or education.
Experience with completing spreads and written credit analysis reports on borrowers and guarantors.
A solid understanding of Financial Statements and Tax Returns, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Computer: Proficient with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and Word.
Experience with any of the following is a bonus: CoStar Market Analytics, Moody’s Risk Analyst, Fidelity Information Services’ IBS Insight, Hyland Software’s OnBase and Metavante’s BankerInsight

Required: Bachelors or better.
Preferred: Bachelors or better in Accounting.
Preferred: Bachelors or better in Economics.
Preferred: Bachelors or better in Finance.
