We are excited for the opportunity to bring aboard highly motivated and energetic individuals to join our teams. Currently, we are seeking a Windows Systems Administrator, Junior - RDT&E. This role supports a Navy customer in Lexington Park, MD.
Job Description and Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers. Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses. May assist in network emulation/virtualization, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. Windows Administration, computer troubleshooting, Windows patching, and ACAS. Configure and maintain Windows desktops. Maintain latest security guidelines and patches per DISA requirements. Manage backups and image systems for the purpose of duplication and adding new systems to the network.
Basic Requirements A junior level has less than 3 years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description and a BA/BS degree in a relevant subject or discipline for the position.
Education Requirements Bachelor's degree. Substitutions include Associate’s Degree plus 2 years’ additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree. High school diploma or GED and/or a relevant technical certification plus 4 years’ additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
Certifications Sec+(8570)
Preferred Skills and Experience Prior Navy customer support.
Security Clearance Top Secret (must be a US Citizen)
Telework and Travel On site 100%.
