Ductwork Fabricator

Position Summary The Ductwork Fabricator will work with sheet metal to measure, cut, bend, and assemble duct systems for residential and light commercial HVAC installations. This person will also play a key role in staging, organizing job materials, assembling lists, and helping create purchase orders to ensure smooth operations. While they may coordinate with the office at first, the goal is for them to become fully independent in running the shop.
They’ll assist with receiving deliveries, organizing materials, and keeping the shop running smoothly. Forklift experience is a plus, as is the ability to lift moderate weight to move boxes and materials as needed.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes ownership of their space, and wants to grow with us as we expand our capabilities in fabrication and support for the field team.
Work Hours Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Pay Rate $18.00/hr to $25.00/hr depending on experience
Benefits Medical Insurance, Paid Holidays, Paid Vacation, and Uniforms
Required Qualifications
1+ year of experience in ductwork fabrication or a related field
Willingness to travel to the service area when needed
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
Ability to follow directions given, both verbally and in writing
Ability to comply with all safety rules and regulations
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal equipment (shears, brakes, etc.)
Ability to lift, carry, and move sheet metal materials
Desired Qualifications
Familiarity with HVAC systems and airflow principles
