Our single-use and single-patient devices and components are used in a wide range of medical devices and packaging for minimally invasive surgery, infection prevention, wound care, wearables, orthopedic soft goods, and orthopedic implants.

Customer Account Representative Location: Grand Rapids, MI – full‑time on‑site, within a 45‑minute commute.

Job Summary Under the direction of the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Account Representative engages in handling orders, telephone and other inquiries from customers. The role ensures consistent customer service and satisfaction, recommends corrective actions, maintains records of customer requests, and determines workflow procedures to expedite service. The candidate supports outside sales teams, manages key customer accounts, and drives improvements in service levels.

Responsibilities

Request for Quote (RFQ) – Communicate customer specifications to engineering/estimators.

Order Handling – Verify data and enter order information into the system, coordinate with purchasing and production for delivery dates, and communicate commitments to customers.

Customer Advocacy – Identify, investigate, and clarify problems, determine effective resolutions, and serve as a point of contact for the field sales team.

Invoice Management – Communicate billing terms, process invoices, and coordinate with Accounts Receivable.

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) – Manage RMA entries and credits in the CRM database.

Metrics Monitoring – Track on‑time delivery, order fulfillment, and cycle time; provide corrective actions to sustain service levels.

Continuous Improvement – Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain service continuity across departments.

Special Projects – Manage projects assigned by management and remain accountable for all commitments.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

1‑3 years of customer service or sales experience.

Excellent organizational skills.

Detail‑oriented with accurate data entry.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Strong customer relationship skills.
