LPN for Senior Living Community at Homestead Healthcare
Homestead Health Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for one of our Community in Livonia. The LPN will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their well‐being, and maintaining a supportive and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Communicate with pharmacies.
Monitor and assess residents' health status, noting any changes and responding promptly, maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date medical records.
Lead resident assistants and med techs to ensure superior care (patient assessments, audits, and staff training).
Supervise and support Caregivers in delivering care.
Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
Requirements
Current and valid LPN license in Michigan.
Proven experience in a senior living or long‑term care environment, preferably in a management role.
Working knowledge of nursing‑home regulations and the Nurse Practice Act.
Ability to relate positively to residents, their families, employees, and the community with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
