As the

Harm Reduction Outreach Specialist

you will play a pivotal role in individuals" lives, making a significant impact through:

Remain current with HIV industry standards for syringe access programs in NYS and across the country

Implement harm reduction strategies aimed at helping individuals minimize their immediate health and safety risks.

Building Operation duties

Maintains personal care closet and collects completed personal care forms from staff. Each quarter, tracks personal care distributions on spreadsheet

Opening procedures to include, make pots of coffee (flavored and regular), put dishes away, and ensure visitor log has a pen and adequate sign in sheets. General tidying of conference rooms and reception area.

Register for and attend community trainings/workshops to assist with professional development

Submit required documentation consistently by expected deadlines

Harm Reduction Outreach Specialist

Salary: $42,000

Harm Reduction Outreach Specialist

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, 37.5 hours a week

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

Relevant Experience

Must have a personal cell phone, valid driver’s license, proof of current car insurance and registration and access to a working, reliable vehicle.

Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly desirable
