FUEL CENTER/CLERK – Kroger
Assists customers and manages the cash register at the fuel center. Ensures the area remains neat and clean. Restocks, completes incident and security reports, and maintains compliance documentation. Demonstrates Kroger’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Responsibilities
Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
Pump gas
Complete daily tour and inspection
Fill out incident and security reports
Clean up fuel spills and complete Fuel Spill Report
Recover displays; maintain cleanliness of department
Perform cashier functions
Answer telephones
Comply with corporate policies
Comply with all safety guidelines and standards
Promote and follow company initiatives
Maintain knowledge of emergency plans, numbers and procedures
Ability to work cooperatively in a high‑paced and sometimes stressful environment
Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues
Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults
Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
