Profile Summary The Category Management Director manages a category management pillar and team to achieve company sourcing and supplier management objectives, minimizing overall risk and maximizing overall cost savings. The role includes developing category plans, working toward vendor rationalization and simplification.

Assists in the development of the company-wide sourcing philosophy.

Ensures business and sourcing strategies are aligned.

Manages the RFP process and negotiates contracts.

Hires, trains, and develops staff to achieve category management objectives and conducts performance reviews.

Aligns with the sourcing finance director to validate data of all suppliers and contracts.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Experience

7+ years of sourcing experience including a minimum of 2 years of direct management experience.

Experience negotiating multi-million dollar agreements with third‑party suppliers with proven savings success.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Excellent analytical skills.

Excellent contract negotiation and consultation skills.

Compensation Pay Disclosure Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable. The annual base salary range for this position is $127,160 – $178,320 USD. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities such as annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long‑term incentives based on the role. Actual compensation may vary depending on geographic location, experience, education, and other factors.
