Responsibilities

Processes, picks, and delivers parts for tickets created by shop technicians, ensuring timely, efficient fulfillment of all requests and prompt communication of any delays.

Charges parts out to the applicable line segment on the proper repair order, ensuring that cores are properly added to the pick tickets and repair orders.Properly codes and tags warranty parts.

Works with company shop employees to research parts needed for a particular job they are working on.

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Minimum of three (3) years parts warehouse or sales experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Computer proficiency in web-based programs and applications, Microsoft Office Suite applications and related departmental software (including parts inventory, ordering, and tracking systems), to include researching and looking up information.

Demonstrates basic heavy-duty parts bus/truck parts knowledge.

Certifications or Licenses Required

Forklift experience required; certification highly desired.
