We are hiring a Regional Sales Director (RSD) for Structural Interventions in the northwest region. The RSD must live in the region and is expected to travel 50–75% of the time. This role focuses on Abbott’s Amplatzer Congenital offering, which includes atrial septal defects (ASD), patent ductus arteriosus (PDA), ventricular septal defects (VSD), and patent foramen ovale (PFO).
The RSD ensures the assigned region meets or exceeds sales and profitability objectives by formulating sales strategies, managing and coaching sales representatives, clinical representatives, and other field personnel, negotiating contracts, and keeping the company informed of market dynamics and competitive activity.

Develop and execute organizational and operational policies that affect one or more groups.
Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g., FDA, BSI, EEO regulations).
Make decisions regarding work processes or operational plans and schedules to achieve objectives.
Develop, monitor and adjust the annual budget for departments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Ability to provide direction and monitor progress of exempt specialists and/or supervisory staff toward departmental goals.
Experience managing costs of projects, human and material resources within a department or unit, and monitoring company-wide indicators such as market share and profitability.
Qualified to work in a quality system environment. Failure to perform tasks adequately can lead to non‑compliance with governmental regulations.
Ability to develop new work processes and improve utilization of resources, facilitate continuous improvement, investigate and solve problems, and communicate a vision for assigned units.
Verification of required vendor credentialing, which may include COVID‑19 vaccination. Accommodations for medical or religious requirements may be discussed with HR.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree preferred.
Prior experience with medical devices, especially interventional cardiology.
Experience with Structural Heart will receive strong consideration.
Benefits & Compensation The base pay for this position is $111,300.00 – $222,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
