Shipping & Receiving Coordinator (Dundee, MI Onsite)
Position Summary:
We are looking for a full-time onsite Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for our Logistics department. A successful Shipping & Receiving Coordinator has a wide range of duties and responsibilities for the logistics department. Some main duties and responsibilities include the following:
Salary: $85,600.00 – $128,400.00
Responsibilities
Daily verification of drop lot information including accurately saving and archiving drop lot data.
Accurately update “Daily” data spreadsheet each morning showing materials on hand within the plant.
Log daily inventory of plant floor at buildings 1, 2 and 3 including docks.
Daily logging of weights for all silos within plant.
Answer, assist and route incoming logistics calls professionally for both internal and external customers.
Respond to logistics emails in a timely manner regularly and professionally.
Daily scheduling and checks of all inbound and outbound loads.
Include scheduling and rescheduling of loads as needed.
Update warehouse leads of loads arriving late/early.
Assist and check in “call drivers” when or as needed.
Accurately generate and print inbound/outbound logs and IMIC’s for next day for B1 & B2.
Include matching next day bulk loads with SAP release numbers.
Print BOL’s for inbound/outbound loads as necessary.
Daily check of SAP for upcoming outbound needs for the week.
Notify sales department and warehouse manager if any inconsistencies.
Acquire monthly freight rates from brokers.
Update Master Freight rates and log notes on lanes with brokers (should include issues and when they do well on the lane).
Monthly completion of drop lot inventory.
Confirm counts with Warehouse or Logistics manager and ensure monthly drop lot inventory is accurate to ensure effective plant production.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Required: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
Able to multitask in fast paced environment preferred.
Team Oriented, self-motivated and flexible on job assignments.
Lifting Requirements: 0 – 50+ lbs.
Constant: Lift and/or move up to 15lbs.
Frequent: walking on plant floor during inventory counts.
Environment: Exposed to high levels of noise, recyclable debris and smell.
Able to visually examine minute defects in parts and product.
Must be able to reach overhead, bend down and work on ladders periodically as needed.
Must wear proper Personal Protective Equipment: eye, ear, head and toe protection and high visibility safety vest.
