Citi . The USPB Risk CAO organization provides a global focus for risk management strategy and execution oversight. The Director of USPB Risk Reporting will lead global and independent risk reporting for the USPB CRO organization and consumer/retail risk reporting for Wealth, Legacy Franchises, Banking & International‑Retail CROs, and other key enterprise‑level consumer/retail risk reporting to the Citi CRO, Board and Regulators. Responsibilities
Timely, quality and compliant risk reporting. Reporting rationalization and redesign to align with transformation goals—adopting new risk taxonomies, aggregation requirements, systems of record, and BI/analytics tools to deliver updated risk aggregations. Work in partnership with USPB Risk CAO peers, Risk Policy/Process owners and stakeholders from the first and second line of defense to rationalize, simplify and digitize risk reporting. Drive cross‑training within the reporting team and with key groups in USPB Risk CAO and India shared‑services teams. Design, coordinate and prepare executive materials for the USPB CRO and management team’s senior presentations to the Board, risk committees, and regulators; including ad hoc materials. Design, prepare, analyze and distribute global/regional consumer risk reports that are insightful, comprehensive and enable Independent Risk Management to monitor risk worldwide. Partner with Independent Risk Management and In‑Business/Country Risk Management to address new monitoring or regulatory requirements. Lead strategic initiatives to drive common use of “gold source reports” by 1st and 2nd line, and deliver faster insights through persona‑based reporting and new reporting infrastructure. Enhance and streamline management reporting processes by adopting modern intelligence tools and improving data quality. Qualifications
BS or MS degrees in business, finance, economics, computer science or related analytic discipline. 15‑20 years of experience in financial services, with at least 10 years of people‑management experience. Deep understanding of consumer credit risk and related data. Deep understanding of USPB/retail risk management framework for credit cards, mortgages, personal loans, student loans and other consumer loans. Design Thinking and Agile Product Development experience—plus. Ability to synthesize complex data/analytics into succinct effective presentations. Prior leadership in risk analytics, reporting/BI and data preferred. Track record of delivering complex projects related to data, aggregation and reporting. Ability to multi‑task effectively in a dynamic, high‑volume and complex environment with a practical solutions‑driven approach. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven record of engagement with senior leadership. Strong leadership experience, good judgment and timely decision‑making. Strong interpersonal skills for influencing, facilitation and partnership across the organization. Effective negotiation skills and a proactive “no‑surprises” approach. Comfortable acting as an agent for positive change with agility and flexibility. Strong governance skills and prior leadership in managing global teams and re‑engineering risk processes and systems.
