Base pay range $35,000.00 / yr - $38,000.00 / yr
SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE National Park College is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Student Relations Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and conducting campus tours for student recruitment purposes, assisting with various events and duties, planning student life activities, reviewing admissions documents, and communicating with prospective students, high school counselors, and community members. This position is governed by state and federal laws and institutional policy. The salary range for this position is $35,000-$38,000.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Greet and coordinate personal campus tours.
Coordinate and conduct large group tours.
Give campus tours to new employees, special guests, and prospective students and their families when needed.
Assist in the management of the Student Ambassador team.
Assist with recruitment event planning and execution.
Review and verify admission documents for missing required fields, test scores below threshold, and application fraud.
Communicate with prospective students about important dates and deadlines, degree information, missing documents, possible application fraud, and information regarding the enrollment process through means of email, phone calls or text messages, and in-person meetings.
Maintain prospect and application lists for recruitment in the customer relations management system.
Plan, communicate, and facilitate Student Life Activities.
Staff Advisor for the Student Government Association.
Back‑up for application processing.
Attend off‑campus recruitment events when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities
Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills.
High level of attention to detail.
Organizational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
Effective critical thinking.
Maintain confidentiality.
Ability to serve several roles as part of a larger team.
Knowledge of internet and conventional office technology tools (email, internet search engines, Microsoft Word, Excel).
Knowledge of PeopleSoft, Slate, or other data management or CRM platforms is preferred.
Education and Experience
Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience in admissions/recruitment procedures, customer service, marketing, or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to operate a motor vehicle and hold a valid driver’s license.
Ability to travel.
Prolonged sitting.
Extensive walking.
Prolonged screen time.
Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs.
