As a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, you will assist in a variety of duties at the heart of keeping our Panel Shop running smoothly, including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading shipments, fulfilling purchase orders, job kitting, keeping warehouse stocked with essential project materials, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

Receive trucks and unload parts.

Stack parts into job shelves and control distribution.

Maintain the panel shop miscellaneous project costs inventory (wire, din rail, terminal blocks, screws, etc.).

Receive panel shop parts and label them for project identification.

Match purchase orders with shipments and process accordingly in the Vertech ERP system.

Scan packing slips and send to accounting.

Manage WIP parts on job shelves and control distribution to panel techs for panel builds.

Assist with packaging panels and parts for shipment.

Return parts at end of projects and clear job shelves.

Manage inventory of unused and non‑returnable parts.

Assist with shop cleaning and organization.

Use a forklift to load, unload and move products around the panel shop.

Work within safety processes and procedures.

Assist all departments with shipping needs including IT equipment, HR supplies, and admin supplies.

Assist with coordinating crating and freight and assist with physical crating of equipment.

Document damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Technical school or certification preferred.

1 year experience working with Microsoft Office.

Forklift certification preferred; will need certification within 60 days of hire.

Experience in fabrication, machining, or industrial control components a plus.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills.

Highly detail oriented.
