Service Advisor – Interstate Power Systems
Location: Great Falls, Montana
Interstate Power Systems, a division of I-State Truck Centers, is growing and seeking an energetic, customer‑focused Service Advisor to join our Great Falls team. If you love solving problems, building relationships, and keeping heavy‑duty trucks rolling, this is your opportunity!
Responsibilities
Assist customers at the service counter, by phone, and through our Elite Support processes: appointment scheduling, invoicing, and collection.
Support the service office by managing the schedule and workload.
Coordinate technician time and monitor repair progress for maximum efficiency.
Work with the parts department to gather information, create repair estimates, and update customers for approval.
Coordinate outside vendors for sublet work on customer units.
Process warranty claims at branch level and collaborate with the warranty department to maximize recovery.
Requirements
Basic computer skills and knowledge.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication and time‑management skills.
Strong problem‑solving ability with an innovative mindset.
3 years of truck or automotive service writing experience.
Qualities
Positive attitude.
Strong written and verbal communication, including excellent customer service and phone skills.
Organized and able to manage time wisely.
Drive to succeed in a day‑to‑day challenging position.
Mechanical experience.
Computer skills (Excel, Word, Excede OS).
