Overview Director Regional FCIS Sales role at First Citizens Bank focuses on regional sales of investment products and services. The position manages a team of associates, monitors performance, ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, develops sales and marketing strategies that increase production and revenue, coaches associates on client acquisition, retention, and satisfaction in partnership with support and service teams, and provides leadership and personal oversight to the development of centers of influence, community partnership, and other sales outreach efforts.
Responsibilities
Sales Oversight – Manages the sales of investment products and services within a region, directs sales outreach and marketing efforts, and monitors regional production.
Business Strategy – Develops strategic business plans to achieve sales goals and enhance operating efficiencies, builds relationships with business partners to encourage a strong referral network, and collaborates with other regional leadership to align sales strategies with wider business objectives.
Managerial Functions – Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and regional goals and budget objectives, monitors compliance and operational policies, manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff, and maximizes department achievements by providing professional development and actively recruiting talent.
Business Support – Leads or manages special projects within the region and creates reports to deliver insight into sales operations and performance for senior leadership.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Securities Sales, including Sales management OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Securities Sales, including Sales management.
License or Certification – Valid Series 7, 63, 65 or 66, 24 or 9/10 and state‑specific life and health insurance licenses required.
