About the Opportunity
Our client, a well‑established and nationally recognized Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), is seeking a Director of Investor Relations and Growth Strategy to join their high‑performing team. This role is ideal for a results‑driven professional who thrives at the intersection of marketing, business development, and private investments. The Strategic Growth Director will play a pivotal role in expanding the firm’s client base and supporting capital‑raising initiatives for its Alternative Private Investments (API) platform. By identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients and investors, you will convert early‑stage interest into warm, actionable opportunities for the firm’s Wealth Advisors and API team.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify potential wealth management clients through targeted outreach, strategic events, and referral networks
Build engagement through personalized communication via email, phone, and LinkedIn
Assess prospect fit based on asset thresholds, timing, and service alignment
Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date, and actionable CRM records
Partner closely with Wealth Advisors to ensure smooth and effective handoffs
Collaborate with Marketing to refine campaigns, calls‑to‑action, and lead targeting strategies
Investor Engagement & Capital Raise Support
Connect with individuals and institutions aligned with the firm’s private investment strategies
Share educational materials to nurture interest and move prospects toward commitment
Maintain a robust investor pipeline in the CRM, documenting all interactions
Coordinate discovery and closing conversations for the API team
Support webinars, investor briefings, and other events by driving attendance and following up with attendees
Assist in creating investor pitch decks and onboarding documentation in partnership with Marketing and Compliance
Collaboration, Process & Results
Track outreach activity, conversion rates, and pipeline performance on a weekly basis
Recommend enhancements to sourcing processes and outreach strategies
Ensure alignment and communication between marketing, business development, and investment teams
Qualifications & Experience
3–7 years of experience in business development, outbound sales, investor relations, or lead generation
Proven track record of sourcing and qualifying opportunities within wealth management or investment services
Knowledge of the RIA model and alternative/private investment offerings
CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or SmartOffice preferred) and commitment to data discipline
Excellent communication skills, with confidence in initiating conversations and handling objections
Highly organized, self‑motivated, and accountable to activity and conversion goals
Ability to travel for meetings, conferences, and events as needed
Familiarity with the EOS® operating model is a plus
Strong team player able to collaborate across departments

Base Salary – Competitive fixed compensation reflective of experience and qualifications
