Business Development Representative II
to join our growing logistics team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for building strong client relationships, developing revenue-generating strategies, and navigating the fast-paced world of
transportation brokerage
and
supply chain operations . You’ll be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities, managing a strong
sales pipeline , and working cross‑functionally to align sales initiatives with business objectives. If you’re results‑driven and ready to take ownership of revenue growth, this is the opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new client opportunities in the logistics and transportation sector
Build, manage, and maintain a strategic sales pipeline to drive business growth
Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs
Develop tailored proposals and presentations using Excel and other tools
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, customer support, operations) to ensure alignment on client acquisition strategies
Continuously evaluate and optimize sales processes and outreach methods
Promote exceptional customer service and foster long‑term relationships with clients
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition preferred
Background in logistics, freight, supply chain, or transportation brokerage strongly preferred
Strong understanding of sales principles, negotiation, and lead generation
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of using data to inform decision‑making
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self‑starter with a goal‑driven and adaptable mindset
Ability to thrive in a team‑based environment and collaborate across departments
