Resident Assistant / Home Health Aide
Job Overview:
Opened in 2020, Pillars of Prospect Park is a senior living community located off the light rail transit station and close to the metro bus near the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, MN. The community features 133 independent living, 106 assisted living and 44 memory care apartments in two buildings, including an on‑site Intergenerational Child Care Center. Managed by Ebenezer, Minnesota's largest senior living operator, this role supports our mission to help seniors heal, discover, and educate for longer, healthier, more meaningful lives.

$20.47–$25.75 per hour (announced)

Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Responsibilities
Provide personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, foot and fingernail care, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and assistance with hearing aids and/or glasses.
Assist with transfers and use of mechanical lifts (1‑2 person transfers).
Support health‑related needs under RN supervision: blood glucose monitoring, medication assistance (insulin injections), and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration).
Perform daily living support tasks such as laundry, cleaning, meal service, and resident activities.
Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition; communicate observations to staff and contribute to care planning.
Act as a mandated reporter and promptly report concerns of potential mistreatment.
Respond to resident needs and building emergencies following established protocols.
Required Qualifications
Less than 1 year of experience in a caregiving or health‑support role.
Preferred Qualifications
GED or High School Diploma.
1–3 years of relevant experience.
