Job Summary As the Sous Chef for a premier corporate client at 1166 Avenue of the Americas, you will support the successful culinary operations of the executive dining program. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, generally starting at 6 am (occasional evenings will be required). It provides holidays and weekends off, great benefits, and career growth opportunities with a leading food‑service company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support the successful culinary operations including planning and menu creation, preparation, cooking, and service.

Provide outstanding service to guests and clients.

Manage a culinary team of hourly associates.

Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary team.

Assist with managing cost controls, inventory, and ordering.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of related culinary experience.

Experience in fine dining, restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, and/or related food service operations.

Knowledge of food and industry trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, safety, food cost controls, and presentation.

Supervisory, leadership, training, management, and coaching skills.

ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is preferred.

Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products including Excel.
