Part-Time RCIS Crop Claims Field Adjuster II Zurich Insurance is looking for a Part‑time RCIS Crop Claims Field Adjuster II in Wyoming. The role is based in a home‑based office with 20 hours per week and up to 50% travel within the territory.

RCIS has built the largest crop‑insurance network in the U.S., serving the nation’s farmers and ranchers from a network of approximately 3,600 licensed agents and 4,000 professionally trained agents.

Responsibilities

Complete field inspections and related responsibilities such as reading maps and aerial photos, measuring field and storage bins, and discussing findings of crop loss with farmers.

Perform fact‑finding regarding crop damage; record information and transmit loss information to accurately determine potential damages.

Provide excellent service to our customers – both agents and policyholders (farmers).

Utilize company software to electronically transmit claims information directly from the field to RCIS to ensure timely and accurate processing.

Follow regulatory and company rules, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in the agricultural area.

Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire.

Reliable personal transportation and ability to travel within the territory.

Valid driver’s license.

Physical ability to walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles, climb storage bins up to 25 feet, lift 25–50 lbs., and work outdoors in varying temperatures.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong organization and prioritization skills.

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

Experience providing technical training to other crop professionals.

Compensation and Benefits Hourly rate range: $22.98–$31.63 with short‑term incentive bonus eligibility of 5%. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation.
