We are a recognized early childhood education provider honored with the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award. As a Camp Director, you will lead our out‑of‑school and school‑ground programs, working closely with families, districts, and our high‑quality counselors to create engaging, inspiring camp experiences.
Responsibilities
Recruit, lead, train, and supervise a team of counselors to deliver unique and engaging camp experiences.
Manage the business portfolio and drive decisions to improve revenue and family retention.
Ensure effective operation, uphold high quality programs, and maintain top health and safety standards.
Promote a passion for outdoor activities and nature‑oriented consciousness.
Partner with parents to provide the best care and experience for their children.
Cultivate positive relationships with families, counselors, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and client partners.
Lead recruitment and enrollment efforts by hosting hiring and enrollment events.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills
1+ year of summer camp experience as a lead with ability to recruit, develop, engage, and inspire a team.
A love for children and strong desire to create engaging and fun environments.
Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, and ability to multi‑task and manage multiple situations effectively.
Experience delivering creative content to families about daily activities.
Budget and financial accountability with revenue generation experience preferred.
Ability to build strong, sustainable relationships with client partners.
Self‑sufficient and resourceful, working through challenges with minimal guidance.
Strong conflict resolution, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
Comfortable with water and familiar with water safety.
Must meet state licensing requirements.
Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $55,300.00 – $75,000.00. Benefits include discounted child care, medical, dental, and vision coverage (pets included), employee assistance programs, health and wellness resources, paid time off, and cell‑phone discounts.
