Position Overview The Strategic Broker Account Manager is responsible for building, optimizing, and expanding BenefitHub’s relationships with brokerage and consultant partners. This role ensures brokers are fully equipped to advocate for BenefitHub within their portfolios, drives pipeline through the broker channel, and supports broker-led opportunities to increase adoption of our platform. You will collaborate closely with Executive Management Sales, Client Success, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure broker partners remain informed, engaged, and aligned with our go-to-market strategy.

This role is ideal for someone who loves building partnerships, understands the employee benefits ecosystem, and can translate broker needs into actionable strategies that support BenefitHub’s growth.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Broker Relationship Ownership

Act as the primary relationship manager for BenefitHub’s strategic broker and consultant partners (national, regional, and boutique firms).

Develop strong, consultative relationships with brokers to ensure BenefitHub is top-of-mind during RFPs, renewals, and new employer introductions.

Conduct quarterly broker business reviews and strategic planning sessions.

Channel Growth & Revenue Impact

Operate as the primary owner of the Preferred Partner Programs (PPP) to ensure maximum attainment levels by Brokers, while collaborating with Brokers to develop plans to maximize success within the PPP program.

Drive broker-sourced and broker-influenced pipeline by promoting BenefitHub’s value proposition and identifying new partnership opportunities.

Collaborate with Sales to support broker-led deals with positioning, pricing inputs, and demo support.

Track channel revenue and broker engagement metrics to measure performance and identify growth opportunities.

Broker Enablement & Training

Lead onboarding and ongoing training for brokers on BenefitHub’s platform, product updates, client success stories, and competitive differentiators.

Develop and refine broker-facing materials, including sales decks, one-pagers, benefit summaries, and renewal assets.

Ensure brokers understand how BenefitHub complements employers’ total rewards and wellbeing strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Marketing to build broker-specific campaigns, co-branded content, newsletters, and thought leadership pieces.

Work with Product and Client Success to capture broker insights and communicate market trends and client needs.

Align with internal sales leadership on broker tiering, incentive structures, and channel strategies.

Operational Excellence

Maintain accurate broker records, activity tracking, and revenue attribution within Salesforce.

Standardize broker workflows—including onboarding, engagement, and reporting.

Provide recurring broker performance reports and insights to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications Required

4–7+ years of experience in broker management, channel sales, strategic partnerships, or benefits consulting.

Strong understanding of the employee benefits ecosystem—brokers, consultants, carriers, HR tech, and employer buying cycles.

Proven success driving revenue through channel or broker partnerships.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).

Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred

Experience in HR tech, voluntary benefits, employee engagement, or SaaS-based benefits solutions.

Prior experience presenting to or partnering with national/regional benefits brokerage firms.

Knowledge of employer distribution channels and go-to-market strategies
