**Location**Mayfield Heights, OH **REQ246268 Inside Sales Representative, Mayfield Heights, Ohio**Job Description**Job Function**Reporting into the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative will spearhead the development of our inside sales function. This role is an onsite/Hybrid position and is critical in driving revenue growth by identifying and nurturing leads, securing/managing smaller to mid-size accounts with significant upside potential, and providing exceptional sales support. They will be responsible for the below responsibilities.**Responsibilities*** Prospect, qualify, present, negotiate, and close sales.* Champion our customer base by building relationships at all levels, providing clear communication, timely responses, and effective problem-solving.* Uncover new applications and opportunities with current customers and prospects to expand product usage and cross-over sales.* Identify and qualify potential leads from various sources.* Follow up on leads and inquiries to convert them into sales opportunities.* Document customer contact and the sales cycle within our CRM.* Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to identify customer order patterns and opportunities.* Facilitate smooth transitions for accounts between Inside Sales, Territory Sales Managers, and Channel Partners as requested.* Work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve company goals.* Other duties as required.**Required Experience*** Completion of secondary education or equivalent qualification.* 3+ years of experience in sales or customer facing role.* Previous experience in sales support or similar role in a B2B environment.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage with customers effectively.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic sales environment.* Goal-oriented with a strong desire to achieve sales targets.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.**Preferred Experience*** Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus* Customer facing role (sales/tech service) in a Manufacturing sector is preferred.* Generating sales reports and identifying potential opportunities/lost business would be an advantage* Data management skills, preferably a strong background with excel or other data management tools* Previous experience utilizing CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)* Familiarity or experience with an ERP system (e.g. Oracle, SAP, etc.)
