A role within the Brand Ambassador team means advancing our growth with key brands and assortments by engaging with our Vendor partners to unlock full-funnel brand and category experiences for guests. You’ll provide strategic data and insights to Vendors and partner cross-functionally to develop and execute strategies that optimize digital performance, improve conversion, and promote brand growth.
As a
Sr Site Merchandiser, Brand Ambassador
you will be the digital expert that owns and drives our connected commerce to grow our Brands in partnership with Vendors, through caretaking the Target.com site and the Target app KPIs for a portfolio of Brands. You will leverage a broad set of digital data to analyze the brand's online performance, provide tailored recommendations, develop and execute guest engagement strategies that optimize digital performance, improve conversion, and fuel brand growth.
Core Responsibilities
Client Support: As a primary point of contact for client’s digital brand performance and insights, you will work alongside vendor partners across a portfolio of brands, to strengthen the full funnel digital experience across channels.
Analytics & Insights: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across devices and platforms, guest behavior, and market trends. Provide weekly in-depth reporting and develop tailored insights to clients and partner teams to improve the online experience and inform business decisions.
Site Experience Strategy & Optimization: Develop and implement site merchandising strategies that drive brand performance. Translate internal and external insights into actionable plans that enhance conversion, optimize the guest journey and inform growth opportunities, through a mix of execution and influence levers.
Cross Functional Partnerships: Cultivate strong partnerships internally and externally to enhance decision making, drive brand performance and increase digital acumen. Leverage key partnerships to deliver cohesive digital experiences for the guest across brand and category objectives.
Results & Financial Accountability: Maintain a strong sense of accountability for delivering financial results, ensuring strategies drive topline sales, profitability, guest engagement and key brand objectives.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for innovation for the client, for category, technology, and processes. Proactively drive progress, improvement, and advancement to enhance guest experiences (i.e. personalization tactics).
About You
4-year degree or equivalent experience
4+ years of e-commerce experience (Site Merchandising, Digital Marketing, Digital Consulting)
Client-facing account management with major consumer brands specializing in data analysis, strategic insight development and project management
Understanding of e-commerce trends and innovations, retail business fundamentals, digital guest funnel and e-commerce metrics with demonstrated experience in driving digital performance
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including financial and business metrics in addition to site metrics
Business acumen - entrepreneurial, revenue-generating mindset
Ability to execute, plan and influence cross-functionally
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights in a clear, concise, and engaging narrative, to varying levels of leadership
High level of initiative, accountability and organization, managing multiple projects with competing priorities
Ability to manage ambiguity, risk, uncertainty and changing directions
Extended shifts aligning with US times (TII)

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
