A global, multi-billion-dollar technology manufacturer operating across more than 30 countries is seeking an experienced
Regional Sales Manager
to lead sales growth within the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) market across the Mid-Atlantic region. The organisation is a long-established industry leader known for developing advanced electronic instruments, electromechanical devices, and high-reliability components used in a wide range of commercial aviation, military, and industrial applications.
The company’s A&D division comprises multiple specialised business units producing mission-critical systems such as thermal management solutions, high-performance fans and blowers, heat exchangers, flexible metallic hoses and ducts, liquid cooling systems, pumps, and advanced sensing technologies. The role requires the ability to cultivate high-value customer relationships, influence technical and commercial decision-makers, and deliver sustained order growth in line with long-term program objectives.
You will also collaborate closely with internal stakeholders—including engineering, product management, and senior leadership—to align product development roadmaps with customer and market demand, ensuring the business maintains a competitive edge.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business development across the A&D marketplace, identifying and winning opportunities with key OEMs and strategic accounts.
Expand revenue within existing accounts, leveraging relationships to maximise incremental growth.
Pursue second-source opportunities to replace incumbent competitors and increase market share.
Manage a complex, long-cycle sales pipeline with a structured and process-driven approach.
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders across multiple business units.
Collaborate with internal engineering and leadership teams to influence product development aligned with customer needs.
Achieve annual territory order targets and long-term program win objectives.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; technical or engineering discipline preferred.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales or marketing within Aerospace and/or Defense sectors.
Proven track record securing new business and managing high-value OEM relationships.
Strong experience with CRM and business analysis tools (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Office).
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel up to 50% across the Mid-Atlantic region.
Home-based within the territory.
