Brand Manager

Sumita Cosmetics, a global cosmetic company, seeks an experienced, dynamic brand manager for immediate hire. This position reports to the CEO and is a full-time position, based in our North Hollywood, CA offices. Job Description: Serve as the primary marketing contact for distributors and retailers within the U.S and International markets. Develop and maintain strong relationships with our key partners. Create branding strategies and promotional campaigns across all platforms; track the success of all brand initiatives and identify areas for growth or improvement. Generate strategic promotions to support product launches throughout the year and drive brand awareness. Leads the launch of new products, including research, packaging, product development and design, in-store and consumer programs and merchandising solutions. Provide monthly reports and updates on evolving trends, new product ideas, ingredient technology and the competitive environment. Allocate and adhere to yearly marketing budget. Responsible for attending industry conferences and events on an as needed basis. Desired Skills/Experience: In-depth knowledge of the cosmetics industry, minimum of 5 years experience. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills. Project management and problem solving skills are a must. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. Self-starter, ability to work independently. Demonstrate enthusiasm for beauty and cosmetics. Complete computer proficiency including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Keynote.
