About The Role As one of the first hires in Sales, you’ll have outsized impact on Terrakotta’s growth trajectory and culture. You’re not joining to “run a script” you’ll help build the playbook.
What You’ll Do
High-volume outbound:
100+ calls a day to warm and cold prospects
Build the foundation of our sales org
— refine our existing motion and explore new revenue channels
Work directly with founders
on sales strategy, messaging, GTM experiments, and product feedback
Own your pipeline
— operate with autonomy, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset
Grow fast
— clear path to Account Executive in 6–12 months, with future leadership opportunities as we scale
What You’ll Need
Scrappy & resourceful
— you thrive in ambiguity, figure things out quickly, and default to action
Coachable & self-directed
— you take feedback well, iterate fast, and don’t need hand-holding
Exceptional communicator
— confident on the phone, concise in writing, and able to simplify complex ideas
Operationally sharp
— organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage high-volume outbound without dropping balls
Based in Los Angeles
— this is a hybrid role with in-person collaboration
Bonus Points For
Experience in
B2B SaaS , outbound sales, or a technical/analytical field
Exposure to
commercial real estate , engineering, or similar industries
Hands-on experience using
AI tools
to automate workflows or enhance productivity
Prior experience contributing to growth at an
early-stage startup
