We have an exciting opportunity in a newly created team! We are looking for a Senior Mid-Market Account Executive to join us. This will be a highly motivated individual who is excited to play a key role in promoting and selling Genesys in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
Present and demonstrate products/services: Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and value propositions of our products/services to prospective customers. Understand the customer’s business problem and articulate how Genesys is a solution, not just focusing on software features.
Build and maintain customer relationships: Develop and nurture relationships with existing and potential customers, providing excellent service, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
Achieve sales targets: Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and quotas on a regular basis, continuously improving sales performance and achieving personal and team goals.
Conduct sales negotiations: Engage in price negotiations and overcome objections to secure sales using effective sales techniques to persuade customers and close deals.
Collaborate across teams: Liaise with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to gather information, provide feedback, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on industry trends: Keep informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, expanding product knowledge to effectively address customer needs and stay ahead of the competition.
Qualifications
BS degree or equivalent work experience; 3+ years in software sales.
Experience selling complex deals over $100k in complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
Consistent track record of success in closing new logo opportunities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships.
Self‑motivated and driven to achieve sales targets.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Adaptability to changing priorities and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Willingness to learn and develop sales skills and product knowledge.
Compensation This role offers a market‑competitive base salary ranging from $78,700 to $146,100, plus eligibility for performance‑based bonuses.
