Team Overview and Job Responsibilities
The optimal candidate will live and operate in the North Texas Region and must be located within 50 miles of a major airport.
Develop a highly effective distributor system, dealer network, or customer base for the assigned channel.
Formulate sales strategy for the assigned territory or products, develop sales forecast, budget, and manpower planning; supervise and train distributors, dealers, agents, and/or sales force to achieve sales targets; pursue key prospects, negotiate, and construct appropriate terms of sales.
Implement business strategies to achieve profitable business relationships and identify new revenue opportunities with the assigned channel.
Responsible for the commercialization of the company’s products to the assigned channel, defining market policies and strategies to achieve established objectives in terms of volumes and product mix.
Provide ongoing support to clients ensuring they receive high quality customer service.
Support customers by providing product knowledge and developing knowledge of the client’s business.
Responsible for the direct sales process, aiming at meeting and/or exceeding sales targets.
Serve as a liaison between clients and company departments.
Proficiency in understanding structured cabling systems, POE, and Fiber Optics technology.
Inform clients of new products and services as they are introduced and recommend products and services that fit client business needs.
Who are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree or four‑year equivalent degree.
Master’s degree preferred.
7-10 years of experience in outside sales roles.
5-7 years of experience with cable manufacturing preferred.
Work Environment / Physical Demands
Works out of a normal office environment with standard office equipment available.
Extended periods of sitting or standing at a desk or workstation.
Repetitive tasks such as typing, filing, and data entry, requiring dexterity and hand‑eye coordination.
Sitting, bending, kneeling, squatting, use of keyboard, reading, writing, and speaking fluently.
Regularly required to lift and carry objects of 5‑10 pounds as needed.
Occasionally required to lift and carry objects of 15‑25 pounds as needed.
Required to work productively and cooperatively in a high‑volume, fast‑paced, highly pressured environment and respond efficiently and courteously to unanticipated problems and crises.
This role is not typically exposed to adverse environmental conditions, except for excessive eye strain.
When travel is necessary, will be exposed to typical travel environment and surroundings.
