This position is responsible for developing account plans for new and/or existing accounts. Prospect new customers and close full solution sales to corporate customers.

About The Role The Account Executive will: Prospect new opportunities to build a strong sales pipeline, manage a list of major accounts, meet or exceed revenue targets, collaborate cross‑functionally, build relationships with key decision‑makers, and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.

Responsibilities

Prospecting: Actively seek new business opportunities with both new and existing customers, maintaining a clean pipeline and aiming for 3‑4× coverage of sales targets monthly and quarterly.

Account Management: Handle a list of major accounts (companies with revenues of $500M+), leading the entire sales process from account planning to renewal.

Sales Goals: Meet or exceed revenue targets.

Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to tailor solutions to customer needs.

Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers and stakeholders.

CRM Maintenance: Regularly update the CRM system (Salesforce.com) to maintain accurate records and provide reliable forecasts; engage in client meetings, in person or via MS Teams.

Qualifications

College degree preferred with a minimum of 5 years direct field sales experience, proven sales quota overachievement.

Proven success selling complex, enterprise software (>$500M revenue targets) with a consultative, value‑based approach.

Experienced engaging C‑suite using solution selling to uncover business challenges and quantify impact of inaction.

Skilled at leading multi‑stakeholder, detailed sales processes and managing full‑cycle deals from prospecting to close.

Self‑starter with a growth mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and driving change.

Strong cross‑functional collaborator with marketing, product, and legal to achieve shared outcomes.

Deep understanding of AI and its application to improve legal department operations.

Adept at developing and executing account plans; contributes to sales strategy and tools.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws requiring upfront disclosure of pay range. The target total cash compensation range for this role is $128,100 – $237,900.
