Account Executive - Risk Solutions
Lockton is looking for an Account Executive – Risk Solutions to join our team in Tampa, FL.
Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance Lockton’s relationships with existing clients by executing proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives.
Proactively understand the requirements and needs of client accounts.
Provide strategic planning and consulting advice to clients, including production of RFPs, coordination of vendor responses, analysis and comparison of RFP responses, and preparation of client reports with recommendations.
Consult clients to review investment options, benefits, services, fees, strategies, and goals.
Review large claims, abnormal utilization results, and monthly claims experience with clients.
Review and issue profitability assists on all “fee-at-risk” proposals.
Assist in establishing and attaining revenue goals for existing and new business.
Provide input in development and implementation of policies, procedures, and operating and strategic plans within area of specialty.
Develop and maintain dependable working relationships with carriers, broker servicing networks, and other providers.
Oversee issue resolution between client and vendor.
Coordinate market selection for new and renewal business on designated accounts.
Initiate and duplicate new business report activities.
Generate new business opportunities through cross-selling.
Negotiate program terms and costs.
Coordinate day‑to‑day administrative activities among those servicing the client’s account, including claims and loss control support services.
Provide information, concepts, techniques, and programs to department associates to improve working knowledge.
Mentor and train junior‑level staff.
Research and understand industry trends, product development, and government regulations.
Perform other responsibilities and duties as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, and/or equivalent experience.
Typically more than 7 years of client‑services experience required.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated strong working knowledge and experience within the brokerage industry.
Understanding of industry trends and governmental regulations.
Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed.
Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions.
Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company information.
Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time to meet deadlines.
Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft.
Proficiency with office equipment such as computer, keyboard, calculator, photocopier, and facsimile machine.
Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods.
Ability to work outside normal business hours as needed.
Legally able to work in the United States.
