Sales Manager with 5+ sales management experience, preferably with a B2B sales background. This candidate will be responsible for leading, motivating, and managing a team of inside sales representatives who conduct sales primarily over the phone. The role involves setting and achieving sales goals, optimizing sales processes, analyzing performance, and fostering a high‑performing sales environment to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives. Responsibilities
Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to improve individual and team performance. Set weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales goals and monitor progress toward these objectives. Utilize confident sales management abilities to direct the sales team to increase call volume to retailers nationwide, develop new business relationships, and reactivate inactive customers. Train the sales team on how to broaden their sales skills (increasing call volume, adding on to orders and closing the sale). Supply upper management with daily and weekly reports on sales teams’ activity, customer needs, and new business development interests. Maintain and increase overall sales volume among key accounts and pursue new key account business. Develop strategic partnerships with suppliers to better coordinate marketing efforts, increase brand awareness, and thus increase sales. Conduct in‑depth market analysis to identify untapped opportunities. Job Requirements
Enthusiastic, success driven, highly motivated personality. Assertive with high confidence in both self‑sales abilities and sales management efforts. Strong verbal communication skills. Willingness to make phone calls to present our product to prospective large key accounts or multi‑chain dealers that aren’t currently buying from us. Be able to think quickly on your feet. Excellent selling, communication, negotiation and influencing skills. Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills. Qualifications
BS/BA degree in sales, marketing, business or related field. Proven experience in an inside sales, tele sales, or call center management role. Strong computer/data entry skills required. Strong leadership skills and a passion for motivating and developing teams. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools. Benefits
