In partnership with our client, we are actively searching for a Senior Key Account Representative to deliver on our commitment to serve patients. The specialty sales representative will be responsible for promoting a product to specialty healthcare providers in an assigned territory. This is a direct hire role with Health Monitor.

With an industry‑wide physician office network of over 250,000 offices and more than 450,000 professionals, we create customized educational content that fosters productive patient‑physician dialogues at every point of care.
Position Overview The Key Account Representative is an external sales position responsible for calling on targeted leads, selling, and establishing/maintaining relationships with Key Health Care Providers (HCPs) and systems within their assigned territory. This role involves planning and executing both tactical and strategic sales activities, with the ability to lead teams and make decisions autonomously while aligning with management’s objectives.
Essential Job Functions
Plan and execute tactical sales activities with strategic oversight.
Ensure all expected results are timely, efficient, and of high quality.
Demonstrate full understanding of territory management, planning in an autonomous manner with appropriate oversight.
Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals, including new client acquisition and upgrades.
Acquire new hospitals, health systems, and large group practices.
Guide junior members or lead initiatives where required.
Establish and maintain relationships with at least 5 Key Account Systems within the assigned geography.
Develop quarterly sales plans in alignment with the Plan of Action (POA).
Manage client relationships to build an excellent reputation for service, addressing issues quickly.
Engage in at least 6 in‑person calls with decision‑makers per day.
Expand market share by generating new business opportunities within the territory.
Schedule advance working appointments to ensure full territory coverage.
Handle administrative responsibilities, including sales orders via NetSuite and expense management via Concur.
Support ancillary duties for post‑sale processes such as content updates within HCP networks.
Collaborate with regional service counterparts to ensure client satisfaction and smooth operations.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Travel 50% of the time; may work remotely during non‑travel periods.

Achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets.
Successful acquisition and retention of new clients.
Client satisfaction and retention metrics.
Leadership performance, if applicable.
Efficiency in managing administrative tasks.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience.
2‑5+ years of B2B, medical/dental device, or pharmaceutical sales experience.
Proven ability to interface with clients professionally and adapt communication style.
Territory management experience, with strategic assignment planning.
In‑depth knowledge of HCP networks, group practices, and health systems.
Strong product knowledge of the Point of Care space, with ability to train and educate.
Executive presence and decision‑making skills.
Strong business acumen and storytelling skills to engage clients.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills.
Strong presentation skills for high‑level audiences.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems such as NetSuite and Concur.
High‑speed internet access for remote administrative tasks.
Continuous learning of market trends and product developments.
Adaptability and problem‑solving in a fast‑paced sales environment.

ADA Physical Demands Office position requiring frequent sitting, use of hands, speaking, hearing, walking, reaching, and computer keyboard use. Regular travel may be required. Compensation and Benefits Potential base pay range: $65,000–$75,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, and schedule. Incentive plans, bonuses, and other compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare benefits.
