What You Can Expect This position will utilize communication skills, knowledge of Zimmer Biomet products, and in‑person meetings to assist current customers and secure potential customers. It is responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of the Zimmer Biomet portfolio to consult on surgical procedures. The position reports to the RSD, RSM, or Sales Team Leader within a defined territory or region.
How You’ll Create Impact
Build strong relationships with key surgeons and continue to build knowledge and expertise to cover main product segments (Reconstructive, Extremities, ROSA™, Surgical, Sports Medicine, and Trauma) with clinical proficiency.
During procedures, use product knowledge to solve problems and inform surgeons and OR staff on the proper use and maintenance of Zimmer Biomet products.
Coordinate surgery schedule, including templating for cases based on expertise and product knowledge.
Plan, coordinate, and ensure all implants and instruments are in place prior to case.
Request implants and instruments necessary to cover designated surgeries through SMS.
After procedures, ensure all Zimmer Biomet products used are properly accounted for billing and inventory replenishment.
Report on competitor and customer activities in the field.
Strictly adhere to all policies and SOPs regarding the interaction with HCPs, product handling, complaints, expense reporting, sales activities, and training.
Support Zimmer Biomet sales by sharing knowledge, ideas, and references.
Develop relationships with internal support personnel.
Provide after‑hour and/or evening case coverage, including weekend and on‑call coverage for the team and/or territory.
Collaborate and provide sales support for the team and/or territory, including transportation of Zimmer Biomet instruments and implants for day, evening, add‑on, or weekend cases.

Capable of carrying weights up to 50 lbs.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team is essential to the job.
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Ability to complete tasks accurately and on time, paying close attention to detail.
Communicate clearly in verbal and written form in English.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Your Background
Minimum of an associate’s degree, medical certification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
0–2 years of sales or sales service experience, preferably in medical device.
Travel Expectations
Up to 20%
This role has a salary range of $60,000–75,000 + bonus & benefits.
