Parts Sales Specialist

Responsibilities
Greet walk-in customers, respond to telephone calls and inquiries, and sell products/services to meet customer needs.
Process inter-company parts transfer requests.
Provide parts to Service Technicians as required.
Assist with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays.
Verify receipting of shipments and assist with placing machine down and stock orders in proper inventory locations.
Keep work area and assigned warehouse areas neat, clean, and organized.
Maintain condition of department vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
Participate in annual physical inventory.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
John Deere parts experience or 3+ years of other parts experience, preferably automotive or comparable equipment.
Safe forklift operation; must obtain forklift certification.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Basic math skills.
Physical Requirements
Regular and timely attendance is required.
Participates in all job-related training and development.
Able to move objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
Working Conditions
Hazards from electrical, mechanical, and power equipment.
Risk of exposure to chemicals such as oils, antifreeze, volatile hydrocarbons, and battery acid.
Excessive weather conditions.
Mists, fumes, and non-continuous noises.
Dust from hose saws.
