Position Summary The Inside Account Executive answers inbound calls to sell tools and products in accordance with Innovative Tooling culture and customer service standards. The individual placed in this position will be expected to represent the company in a professional manner, while providing customers with the utmost in customer service. Candidates should also possess an aptitude for computer applications such as Outlook, Excel and Prophet 21.
Duties and Responsibilities
Exercise independent judgment to answer inbound calls to sell Innovative Tooling products.
Provide sales‑related solutions utilizing common and alternative sources of information to resolve customer product and service issues.
Consult with other associates to locate the most effective sources of information.
Provide customer service to ensure customer satisfaction, account retention, and revenue generation.
Communicate customer concerns to management to ensure the most effective and lasting problem resolution.
Build customer relationships via exceptional levels of service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Work closely with vendors to produce quotes, expedite orders, locate sources for product, and arrange product training.
Support outside sales representatives in various branch activities.
Requirements
3+ years proven inside industrial distribution sales experience.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Computer literacy and proficiency with email, various internet browsers and/or the Windows operating system required.
Knowledge of basic arithmetic and industrial‑like products and the commercial procurement process is preferred.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Adaptable to an ever‑changing and growing company.
