Position: Store Sales Manager Overview AKIRA Sales Managers are fanatical salespeople, goal‑driven servant leaders who ensure customers are styled by experts who live and breathe fashion. They hire, train, and retain top talent, lead by example, and strive to achieve personal and store goals while embodying AKIRA’s culture and code of conduct.

Responsibilities

Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new employees and managers

Training, developing, and retaining top‑notch employees and managers

Developing and maintaining high store morale

Reinforcing and improving our selling culture through our 5 steps of selling

Delivering in‑the‑moment and written feedback

Acting as a supreme motivator for employees and managers

Ensuring store operations and visual presentation meet AKIRA's standards

Upholding and enforcing all of AKIRA's policies

Achieving and surpassing individual sales goals

Achieving and surpassing the store’s daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals

Leading by example to promote and exemplify AKIRA's culture and code of conduct through our 4 principles

Requirements

Passion for fashion

Fanatical work ethic

Strong leadership skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills

High motivation and an appropriate sense of urgency

Minimum of 1 year experience in retail management

Ability to supervise, motivate, and direct employees effectively

Ability to adapt well to new direction and embrace change

In‑depth knowledge of visual merchandising and customer service

In‑depth knowledge of store operations including inventory control, loss prevention, retail systems, and store budget preparation

Ability to work in a highly entrepreneurial environment where being hands‑on is critical to our store's success

Ability to work in a collaborative environment and establish and sustain strong relationships with employees and managers

Physical Requirements

Move product, supplies, and/or boxes repetitively; ability to push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs based on role needs

Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, including a 10‑12 hour shift
